Can Dustin Poirier's inspiring journey in MMA reach the big screen?
Poirier hung up his gloves in July and put an end to his 18-year term in mixed martial arts. 'The Diamond' made his last trip in the cage for his home fans in Louisiana, with headliner UFC 318 in the Smoothie King Center of New Orleans.
Although his career was closed without an undisputed title crowning, 'The Diamond' is generally considered one of the largest to never have been on a UFC throne, which has reached just about everything else in the sport.
And with a few remarkable biopics that will be released in the coming months, Talk has changed on the possibility that Poirier's career is now being dramatized.

Given the adversity he conquered to forge a successful career in MMA and the way he returns to his community, some started to point to Poirier as the ideal focus of a similar biopic along the line.
And a fan recently asked if the ex-internal UFC Lightweight Champion has an actor in mind to play him when such a film flourishes.
Poirier made no serious choice and instead referred to the late Ozzy Osbourne.
