Eddie Howe has taken his position on the behavior of Alexander Isak after excluding the Wil-Away striker of training and a family day with the Newcastle team.
The striker, who wants to become a member of Liverpool, has been told to report to the training area later on Wednesday, after a special team building lunch with the players and their families ended.
Howe said Mail Sport on Sunday evening in Korea that Isak must earn the right to train with the group, in the light of 'bad action'.
Isak did not tell his manager that he flew to Spain last week to use the training facilities in his former club Real Sociedad. Before that, the AWOL Swede had thrown itself out of the Tour of the Far East of the club when he finished the training and with reference to a thigh injury. Another scan showed no damage.
And Howe has been good for his word by telling the 25-year-old that he cannot yet train with the rest of the group, who reported back to their North Tyneside base on Wednesday morning.
'You have to earn the right to train with us. We are Newcastle United, “said Howe in Seoul. 'The player here has a responsibility to be part of a team and part of a team – you have to act in the right way. So that also plays here.
'We will ensure that every player does that to earn the right to train with the group. No player can expect to act poorly and normally train with the group. '
Liverpool will return with an improved range for Isak once Newcastle has found a replacement. They had rejected a £ 110 million on Friday. With the magpies that RB Leipzig's Benjamin Sesko to Manchester United have missed, Isak has taken a hit in particular a hit.
