Chelsea is said to be stunned after £ 30,000 in high-tech camera equipment that is used in training, disappeared from their Cobham headquarters.
According to the sun, the club Surrey Police called about the missing equipment.
Although it is currently unknown whether the equipment had just failed, the incident is considered suspicious enough to involve the police.
Just like many other elite clubs, Chelsea uses video images of training sessions and competitions extensively to help the tactical understanding of their players.
It has also proved favorable for physical preparation before games.
Chelsea refused to comment on the timing and circumstances of the discovery, but more details could come to light as soon as all employees return from vacation.
Mail Sport has contacted Surrey Police for comment.
A number of blues players have been startled in recent years by burglaries on their mansions, including Raheem Sterling and club captain Reece James.
The Huis van Sterling was broken into while he was gone with England at the World Cup 2022, the group escaped by £ 300,000 of designer watches.
The superstar flew back from Qatar to comfort his family after conversations with Gareth Southgate, but later returned to boost his teammates during the tournament.
Serial burglar Emiliano Krosi was part of the gang who used a ladder in the back garden to climb through the Bedkamerraam van Sterling and to take ten Rolex watches.
Albanian Kosi was imprisoned for 13 years in November 2024 for his share in the raid on the £ 7 million house of Sterling and 32 other burglaries in the southeast.
James focused on the 'coward thieves' who broke into his house in December 2021, while he played in the Champions League for Chelsea.
The burglars got away with a safe with the James' Champions League winner's medal from that year, as well as his Runners-Up Medal of Euro 2020.
In the meantime, Jamie Carragher has questioned Chelsea under Todd Boehly and Enzo Maresca – claiming that the blues are still not closer to mounting a Premier League title, despite the splash of another quarter of a billion pound.
Carragher is not convinced that the renewed Maresca team is stronger than before, which suggests that the lush recruitment of the club has not had an impact, despite the fact that eight summer arrivals combined around £ 250 million.
“When I look at Chelsea, I think of what you did in Club's World Cup – everyone wanted to win it,” said Carragher, talking about the fan's overlapping debate.
'Real Madrid really wanted to win, PSG did, and Manchester City too, all we classify as the best teams.
'So I think it is a big thing and it will help build a connection between Enzo Maresca and the supporters, who was not real there last season.
'I am not sure if the Chelsea will push closer to the title. When Chelsea does business, it feels like many players change in the last few years without anyone really lifting the level.
'I know Cole Palmer has been great, but all your wing players feel the same.
'A perfect example is [Jamie] Gittens who come in and leave Madueke – there is no height, and I see that with many positions at Chelsea. '
Chelsea starts the 2025-26 campaign on August 17 with a derby against Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge.
