Former Manchester United -midfielder Christian Eriksen is still a free agent after leaving Old Trafford earlier this summer and is now a transfer target for Burnley
Christian Eriksen has emerged as an ambitious transfer target for Premier League New Boys Burnley after he had left Manchester United as a free agent earlier this summer.
The Denmark International, 33, spent three years at Old Trafford after he arrived at United from Brentford and made a total of 107 performances. And with a wealth of Premier League and international experience under his belt, Eriksen has no shortage of admirers while weighing his next step.
Eriksen has attracted offers all over the world from clubs who would like to pick up the attacking midfielder.
But with Eriksen who is understood as a stay in West -Europe, the option to get to Burnley and stay in England can rely on the former Tottenham -man.
The e -mail report that the Clarets have made contact with Eriksen about a possible deal, which would be considered a large coup in front of Scott Parker.
It is claimed that Eriksen is also interested in his services of clubs in Germany and Spain, who convince the opportunities of Burnley to convince the playmaker to register with Turf Moor.
Eriksen's agent, Martin Schoots, recently confirmed that his client wants to stay in Europe. He told the same publication: “Christian still wants to play in a first competition and he absolutely wants to stay in Western Europe.
“There are some contacts going on, but it must fit on both sides.”

Those comments came after a daring approach from Wrexham, who have just been promoted to the championship. The Red Dragons, owned by Rob Mcelhenney and Ryan Reynolds, are on the market for tent bills after winning three consecutive promotions to reach the second row.
Phil Parkinson, the manager of Wrexham, then confirmed that contact with Eriksen was made, but that things had not gone any further.
“There was a phone call, a little dialogue in the summer, but it did not go further than that,” he said BBC Sport Wales. “But it is clear that he is a largely talented player and respected very well during football.”
