Alonso's team is back in the swing of things in Valdebebas, with a few days of intensive training already completed, prior to their first match of 2025/26 on 19 August at Osasuna.
That start date caused controversy, with Real Madrid twice asked La Liga to consider a change, to give their players extra preparation at the back of a busy summer.
However, that was simply refused, with official confirmation from La Liga President Javier Tebas who explained the reasoning for the decision to frustrate Alonso.
Real Madrid has since requested an independent ruling, but that confirmed the decision of La Liga with the game that continues as planned.
Although they would rather indicate that they would not have time for pre -season matches, Alonso and his team will take on the Austrian side WSG Tyrol on 12 August in the Tivoli stadium in Innsbruck, Austria.
Reports from Mundo Deportivo have offered a further update about the plans with a game behind closed thousand planned against Leganes for Valdebebas on 8 August.
No fans or media are expected to be present for the Derby collision, because Alonso wants to get a clear picture of Match -Fitness levels for the Osasuna -Easy game.
Leganes were relegated from La Liga at the end of the 2024/25 season and they played six summer -friendly matches prior to their starting campaign of the Segunda Division on the road in Huesca on August 17.
