In anticipation of his UFC 319 Middleweight Title Defense, Dricus Du Plessis is considering what could come.
On August 16 at the UFC 319 Main Event, Dricus du Plessis and Khamzat Chimaev will finally collide for the middleweight title after almost a year of both who both call for the fight.
Just over a week after their collision, Du Plessis explained why he again believes that his 'controversial' fighting style will pay dividends, despite the fact that Chimaev will be his most difficult test so far.
However, before the South African champion can enter the Octagon, he has to complete what seems to be a brutal weight area after he has admitted that he still has to cut £ 45.

Du Plessis is planning to go to light weight after UFC 319
In anticipation of their fight in Chicago, 'Stilknocks' has revealed that he still hopes to move to 205 pounds in an attempt to become a double champion.
“I think this has been the goal, the long -term goal was to rise, I am still young in my career, 31 years old, there is a lot of time left. I am a strong proponent of three title defenses, this will be my third before you go up, then the division must of course be tidy,” said Du Plessis Sports Network.
It seems that Du Plessis is not the only one who looks beyond UFC 319, because Chimaev has also revealed that he still has plans to become a triple champion, which suggests a step back to goodweight.
'Borz' fought at 170 pounds before he finally went to the middleweight in 2023 to fight against Kamaru Usman. In the last attempt by Chimaev to make 171 pounds, he was terribly about weight on 178.5 pounds and furious fans after laughing on the scale.
