Dricus du Plessis vs. Khamzat Chimaev will be the biggest fight of the year.
We are less than two weeks from the middleweight title fight between Champion Drus Du Plessis and Khamzat Chimaev, Die UFC 319 from Chicago, Illinois Koppen.
Du Plessis and Chimaev are both unbeaten in the UFC. The highly recommended wrestler Chimaev has never lost a fight in MMA and has hardly lost a round in the Octagon.
Yet there are many unanswered questions when it comes to Chimaev, one is his cardio, because he still has to enter the championship rounds.
While some experts predict the wrestling of Chimaev to overwhelm Du Plessis, one of his former enemies supports the champion to get to the top of the five -round fight.

Gilbert Burns Picks Drus Du Persis about Khamzat Chimaev on UFC 319
#10-ranged UFC Welterweight Gilbert Burns perhaps gave Chimaev his most difficult fight on UFC 273 in 2022.
Burns dropped Chimaev and surpassed him in total strikes and pushed him to the absolute edge over three rounds before he lost a well -affected decision.
Burns may not have been able to get his hand against Chimaev up, but the former Challenger title believes that Du Plessis needs what is needed to act his first loss.
“I really believe he might bring Dricus down, could control him a little,” Burns said about Chimaev on the show Me The Money Podcast.
“I don't believe that Dricus will be eliminated. I don't think he will be cut. I don't think he's ready.
“I really believe that Dricus will fight that up.
'I think if he slows down the way [he did] against Kamaru [Usman] Against me, against a few other hunters, the fight went late. I think it's a nightmare to fight against Dricus … “
“The man comes like a crazy truck,” Burns said that Chimaev hurried his opponents with his struggle.
“The only way to stop the truck is to have a car crash with the car. If you have a car accident, Dricus, he has to fight against the adversity, but with the same energy. He has to give back a lot of energy. That says both boys get exhausted in the second round.
“But I really believe that Dricus fights with all the experience, many five rounds, I think he can recover, dig deep and he hits so hard.
“Maybe a decision,” Burns said about how Du Plessis beat Chimaev.
“But I do believe a late finish. Not even so late. I think I am third until the fourth round. That is my prediction.”
Dricus Du Plessis: 'We are not fighting for a wrestling title'
Du Plessis was previously brought down in the UFC by three hunters.
Former champion Robert Whittaker, Derek Brunson and Darren Till, Du Plessis were able to ground, so many wonder how much success Chimaev will have in the wrestling department.
Despite the lead in wrestling, Du Plessis still has faith in his capacities.
'Khamzat of course [has] Wrestling of world class, struggles, but at this level of sport, everyone's world class, “said Du Plessis Fox 32 Chicago.
“This is not struggling or wrestling. This is MMA. And that is where I am going to operate is the best.
“We are not fighting for a wrestling title. We are not fighting for a wrestling title. We are fighting for the UFC title. And that is where I am the best.
“I am not the best wrestler, I am not the best grappler or best striker, but if you put together all those things, if you combine it, and that is the sport we do, I am the best in the world,” said Du Plessis.
