OFFICIAL: Manchester City defender Max Alleyne joins Watford FC on loan

Watford FC confirms the signing of Manchester City defender Max Alleyne on a seasonal loan.

The 20-year-old middle behind has put Pen on paper and is the 10th new arrival of the Hornets of the summer.

“Max stands out for his technical skills,” head coach Paulo Pezzolano told Watfordfc.com. “He is a very dynamic player and with a really good understanding of the game.

“He is a very versatile player. Because he is an ambidexter, he can play on both sides of the field.

“Moreover, although his main position on the field is a center, he can also play in other positions.”

Alleyne agrees with colleague defensive arrivals Marc Bola, Caleb Wiley and James Abankwah when strengthening the back line of Watford and will wear number three.
