The future of James Rodríguez remains a mystery. The Colombian midfielder currently has a contract with Club León, which runs until December 31. The player and his entourage have not yet made a decision to stay at the Mexican club or, as an alternative, to look for another option.
Rodrigo Fernández, the sports director of the Guanajuato club, spoke the situation of the midfielder. Although he did not provide definitive information about the contractual situation of the player, Fernández opened the door for negotiations to be held in the coming months to find the best solution for both parties.

Fernández regrets the departure of Mendoza
Rodrigo Fernández himself described the current transfer market as one of the worst since he took over the team.
