After UFC 317 at the end of June we still do not know what the next one is for the lightweight champion.
Arman Tsarukyan has called on Ilia Topuria to leave the title after the undefeated star claimed that he is not interested in combating the man that many believe is the rightful top candidate.
Immediately after a new champion was crowned, it seemed that Paddy Pimblett was set up the next time out to challenge the title.
Pimblett still actively follows Topuria in what would be one of the greatest fighting of the year, given the status of both men and their long -term rivalry.
With an official announcement, however, 'The Baddy' has recently been spoken by various other top candidates.

Paddy Pimblett responds to Dan Hooker who rules himself from a potential matchup
Justin Gaethje spoke last month, made it clear that he is not willing to fight Paddy Pimblett, and to go so far that he is even offered to get this matchup, would reconsider him his future in the UFC.
In the past, Pimblett has also ignored Arman Tsarukyan, which means that if he will not get the title fight next time, he could get few options for his next opponent.
Another top light weight also ruled to end itself from trying to end the unbeaten UFC -Run of 'The Baddy' while he plot his comeback.
Then Hooker said that he was not interested in being confronted with Pimblett, because he does not believe that fighting against the Brit would get the best out of him because he does not strongly judge the star.

Hooker would rather be confronted with Tsarukyan, of which he does not believe it currently has other options, given his difficult position at 155 pounds.
In a recent video that documented his latest trip to Las Vegas, Pimblett spoke about both Gaethje and Hooker and appealed to the comments of 'The Hangman'.
“As I always say, I have nothing but respect for Justin, but I keep seeing in interviews that he says he doesn't want to fight. I think I am the only fight to make me and ilia is. I have spoken hooker – recently too. I like hooker, now you can eat s.”. “
Paddy Pimblett is still hopeful about encountering Ilia Topuria
In the same video, Paddy Pimblett also noted that he did not hear from the UFC about whether he then fights for the title or not.
'The Baddy' admitted that there are now more deserving contenders than he, but he also believes that a matchup with Ilia Topuria is the one who wants to see the fans.
With Justin Gaethje, Arman Tsarukyan and then they all seem to be off the table for 'The Baddy', it is difficult to see with whom he would be confronted if the UFC decides to go in a different direction with Topuria.
“Hopefully it will be me versus the chorizo afterwards and I think that is what all Americans want, because every American I come across continues to say:” When are you going to break the head of that sausage? “
