Manchester United is almost completing a sensational deal for RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko and it is now revealed when he is confirmed as a Red Devil

Manchester United gives fans their first glimpse of Benjamin Sesko prior to their collision with Fiorentina. The Red Devils are close to closing a deal for the RB Leipzig striker.

United has agreed a fee of £ 74 million with the German side, while Sesko flew to Manchester and undergoes a medical club with his new club. At the time of writing, United Sesko's transfer to Old Trafford still has to confirm – but an announcement is not far away. It is expected that the 22-year-old will officially be unveiled for fans for fans before the club against Fiorentina.

United welcomes the Serie A side of Old Trafford on Saturday for their last preparation match on Saturday. It comes with Sesko's decision to choose United on Newcastle that is perfectly explained.

As soon as Sesko is officially confirmed as a Red Devil, he will focus his attention on a potential debut for the club. Ruben Amorim's Kant takes Arsenal in Old Trafford in their opening match of the Premier League season.

Club legend Paul Scholes has shared all his thoughts about the arrival of Sesko and suggested that he should hit the ground. He said about the debate about overlapping fan: “From the point of Sesko … he has more chance of Newcastle to develop he needs.

“Now to be a Manchester United Center-Forward, as we found at Hojlund, a 22-year-old child, you have to be ready. It must be now.

“And Hojlund is just not quite good enough for that, as we have seen. But again, he had no chance to be developed – going to Newcastle was perhaps the best for him for two or three years.”

The arrival of Sesko may open the door for another large deal. Rival Vooruit Rasmus Hojlund could possibly leave, whereby AC Milan wants to sign him on loan.

Reports in Italy have claimed that Italian side leaders will fly to the UK to have conversations with their Red Devil colleagues. But Hojlund's position could endanger a deal after he had expressed his wish to stay in Old Trafford.

He said: “I think my plan is very clear and that is for me to keep fighting for my place, whatever happens. I am still very young. I think people sometimes forget. I am only 22. Of course, not every striker scores 100 goals at the age of 22 (like Erling).

“But I learned a lot, I think you can see in my game. I am starting to develop and get even better in the base. Now it is almost for me to grind myself and I have done it very well in the preseason so far. Just concentrate on continuing that.

“The competition is fine for me. It sharpened me. I am more than ready. I feel sharp, so I welcome everything that comes. I think it is good with the competition and it just sharpenes the team.”
