Manchester United is enthusiastic about Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleba, but his price tag is a problem and there are some potentially cheaper and more feasible options on the transfer market
Manchester United could turn to much cheaper alternatives if they are ultimately priced from a movement for Carlos Baleba. The Brighton midfielder has emerged as a potential target for Ruben Amorim, who wants to strengthen his midfield before his first full season.
United has reportedly made contact with the Seagulls, who can ask for about £ 100 million for Baleba, because he has three years old about his contract. United is supposed to appreciate him at £ 70 million, and it has been suggested that Baleba could ask to lower Brighton to lower their asking price.
However, if a deal were to happen, United would have to discharge further players to increase their purchasing power.
