Joshua van has learned a lot from his only UFC loss.
Joshua van Van Myanmar has had an almost perfect run in the Octagon, with 8-1 on his way to a likely title Kans against reigning UFC Flying weight champion Alexandre Pantoja.
Van became the new #1 -administration on 125 pounds when he defeated former title finer Brandon Royval in June in June on UFC 317, on a notice period of less than three weeks. This was from the fifth consecutive victory.
Van's only setback in the UFC came against Charles Johnson last summer, where he suffered a brutal uppercut knock on UFC Denver -the first ko -loss of his career.
Looking back 13 months later, the 23-year-old could not be more grateful for the experience and what he taught him.

Joshua van Over Ko -loss for Charles Johnson: 'The best that has ever happened to me'
On an eight-fighter profit reak, Van Af on the podcast of UFC broadcaster Bruce Buffer gave him a bit of an ego in his fight with Johnson.
Buffer asked if the KO -loss from a year ago will influence him.
“No, that was the best that ever happened in my life,” said Van Johnson's losing.
“I became stubborn, man.
“I have just humiliated,” Van there added.
“Now, I am in sports training, try to get better every time. So I think that was the best thing ever happened to me …”
Joshua van Kan style perform wonders against champion Alexandre Pantoja
Van will have his hands full if he takes on Alexandre Pantoja for the flight weight title.
Pantoja passed the Octagon after he defended the belt with an entry from Kai Kara-France on UFC 317.
Pantoja has proven to be the best grappler of the division time and time again, not lost in five years. 'The Cannibal' has a very aggressive fighting style, which pushes the pace with ruthless Takedown attempts and back Takes.
Van has seen his honest part of the grapers in the UFC and defended 6 of the 8 removal attempts against wrestler Cody Durden and 17 of the 21 removal attempts against Rei Tsuruya.
Van has 81% Takedown defense and currently has the record for the most important strikes that landed per minute at 8.86 – more than the dominant heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall. This makes an interesting stylistic matchup for Pantoja.
We will see if in a future fight with the flying weight King can grow and fight.
