Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has explained the thinking behind the conquest of Benjamin Sesko's club and describes the striker as a player with “big potential”.
Man United quickly moved to beat Newcastle to long -term goal Sesko, 22, and signed the RB Leipzig striker for a reported fee of £ 74 million.
Amorim has already added Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo to his team because they have successfully overhauled a stagnant attacking line-up.
Amorim spoke with the press after their friendly with Fiorentina, praise was full of praise for his last signing.
He said: “He has the characteristics we needed. He is a player who, with all the information we have, we have to prevent the man from working. It is not the opposite, that is also important.
“He is very young. He is good in the air. He is good to walk the channels. He is good on the ball. So I think he has great potential. I think he can improve a lot, and certainly that he will feel at home in our club. He is the right character to be in this group. So we are really happy to have him.”
After Sesko's unveiling at the Home Faithful, the Red Devils would draw 1-1 with Fiorentina and win the penalty shootout after full-time.
