Liverpool -Superster Mohamed Salah has spoken about a UEFA -first to a Palestinian football player compared to Pele after his death.
Suleiman Al-Obeid, 41, was killed on Thursday in an Israeli attack in Gaza, while waiting to receive humanitarian aid, according to the Palestine Football Association.
“During his long career, Al-Oke, 41, scored more than 100 goals, making him one of the smartest stars of Palestinian football,” the organization said.
Al-Obeid made 24 performances for the national team of Palestina, scored twice and earned itself the nickname 'The Palestinian Pele'. He was married to five children.

Salah, who has long put an end to the 'slaughter' in Gaza, believes that the administrative body did not go far enough. To his X account, who has more than 19 million followers, he wrote: “Can you tell us how he died, where and why?”

UEFA has not commented on the criticism of the controversial player.
In 2023, Salah urged world leaders to intervene and ensure that humanitarian aid could be offered to people in need in Gaza, which published a public message after the death of almost 500 people in an explosion in the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza City.
In a video on Instagram, Salah said: 'It is not always easy to speak on time like this. There has been too much violence and too much heartache and brutality.
'The escalations in recent weeks are indigestible to witness. All lives are sacred and must be protected. The slaughter must stop. Families are torn apart.
'What is now clear is that humanitarian aid to Gaza must be allowed immediately, the people there are in terrible circumstances. The scenes in the hospital last night were horrible. The people in Gaza urgently need food, water and medical supplies.
'I call on world leaders to come together to prevent the further slaughter of innocent souls. Humanity must prevail. '
According to the Palestine FA, 421 football players were currently killed or died of the hunger in Gaza, including 103 children.
