UFC Bantamweight Elia Smith has informed the division on UFC Vegas 109.
Few fans knew what they could expect from the UFC Vegas 109 card from Saturday, led by Roman Dolidze vs. Anthony Hernandez. Fortunately, the map supplied many highlight-reel finishes, including a rare slam knockout.
UFC Bantamweight Elijah Smith, the son of former Jager Gilbert Smith, was confronted with another Octagon test against Toshiomi Kazama on UFC Vegas 109. The Bantamweight Matchup was one of the many high-profile periods on the UFC Vegas 109 prelims.
After a decisive victory in his promotion debut in February, Smith did not need long to earn his first UFC finish.

Henry Cejudo responds to the 'historic' Ko of Elia Smith at UFC Vegas 109
With less than a minute in the first round against Kazama, Smith Kazama hijst over his head with a triangle before hit him on the back of his head. Kazama immediately became unconscious when Smith celebrated his first UFC break.
Kazama was immediately taken to the hospital after UFC Vegas 109. From this letter, the UFC did not give a medical update about the 11-5 Bantam weight.
Smith proved himself the last in a whole series of top talents in the stacked Bantam weight division. After looking at Smith's performance, a former Bantamweight champion can be forced to make a drastic career change.
In a recent message to X, former two-division UFC champion Henry Cejudo responded on Smith's Highlight-Reel Ko.
“That was one of the best slams in the history of UFC!” Cejudo posted.
“Elia Smith is a problem in the Bantam weight division.
“About a switch back to flight weight after tonight.”
Referee Chris Tognoni was taken under fire for his observed late break in the Smith vs. Kazama fight. After he was beaten on his head, Kazama suffered several ground and pounds from Smith bumps before Tognoni stepped in to stop the action.
Cejudo has not fought earlier this year since a technical decision loss for Song Yadong in the UFC Seattle Main Event. He has plagued a return to flight weight, as well as a switch to the Featherweight division, in recent years since the return of retirement.
As far as the next step is for Smith, he drives on a win with seven fights and an experienced bantam weight can be confronted for his next fight. Elsewhere at UFC Vegas 109, a UFC Hall of Famer predicted a knockout finish just a few seconds before it flowered.
