Steve Erceg returns to winning ways

It was a difficult first framework for ERCEG, which did well to stay in the fight after he had fallen from a check by a right hook.

Osbourne flowed up for the finish, but did not succeed in closing in the show, completing the round with Erceg on his back, hunting for a victory of the return of the comeback.

The second stanza was much closer. Erceg mixed in his striking with Takedown attempts to make his way back in the fight during a round that could have go in all directions.

There was no doubt about who won round three. Erceg got the Takedown and dominated his opponent on the floor.

Despite the threat of entries, he needed some help from the jury members to beat the non -broken Osbourne.

Steve Erceg's losing series

The UFC career of ERCEG started with three straight victories that earned him an unexpected flying weight shot.

Since then he has fallen to defeat Alexandre Pantoja, Kai Kara-France and Brandon Moreno.

During a recent interview with Bloody Elbow, ERCEG called his recent losses a 'dream come true', despite the fact that he can be at stake his UFC future against Osbourne.

“The positive points are, I have to fight everyone's dream fights right away,” he said.

“It is a dream come true. And the negatives are I lost, but I don't think you can base everything on victories and losing. I have to have some pretty cool experiences and live some pretty cool things and learn a lot about myself.

“I mean, I fought in more Co-Main events and main events than I have another place on the menu, which is crazy to think about, so I certainly feel more blessed than anything.”
