Manchester United unveiled striker Benjamin Sesko on Friday and the new signing of £ 73.7 million from Red Bull Leipzig says that he is convinced that he can fulfill all his ambitions in the club.
Sesko rejected Newcastle United to become the new figurehead for the renewed attack by Ruben Amorim.
Sesko said: “When we discussed the project, it was clear that everything is for this team to keep growing and to compete again for the biggest trophies.”
United finished 15th in the Premier League last season, but Sesko did not deter that because he signed a five -year contract.
'From the moment I arrived, I felt the positive energy and family environment that the club created. It is clearly the perfect place to reach my maximum level and to fulfill all my ambitions.
“The history of Manchester United is clearly very special, but what really excites me is the future,” he added.
Sesko was paraded in Old Trafford alongside United's other summer signing sessions, Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha, and will cause their arrival.
Amorim gave a big hint to his intentions about striker Rasmus Hojlund by leaving the Dane on the couch for yesterday's difficult friendly victory over penalties on Fiorentina and started Mason Mount through the middle.
Afterwards, Amorim admitted: “Sometimes we struggled without the reference as a striker … We now have a new striker.”
United is willing to sell Hojlund for £ 30 million, but AC Milan wants to take it with him at a season loan and have offered a loan costs of £ 4 million.
United has also told Chelsea that they want £ 50 million for Alejandro Garnacho with the Argentinian winger on a move to Stamford Bridge.
Jadon Sancho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia are ready to leave, while left back Harry Amass is desired by Sheffield on Wednesday.
United remains on the market to add another midfielder and has contacted the representatives of Carlos Baleba, but that does not loved them with his club Brighton who does not want to sell.
