UFC fighter who suffered brutal slam KO releases statement after falling to 1-3 in Octagon

Toshiomi Kazama is cheerful after his devastating Ko loss on UFC Vegas 109.

Five Finishes took place on Saturday evening of the UFC Apex, not as bad as the 22-year-old Elia Smith's 'Rampage' Jackson-Stijl Slam Knock-Out on the Prelims.

UFC Bantamweight Kazama refused to let go of a triangular choke that he had on Smith when his opponent picked him up and hit him on his head to the canvas. Smith landed two more punches on the already unconscious Kazama before the referee stopped the match.

It took Kazama a few minutes to get up again and he was later sent to the hospital, with his CT scans that came back negatively.

We received another update from Kazama after the competition 'KO of the year'.

“For now I am just very happy to live …” Kazama added.

With the loss, Kazama falls to 1-3 in the UFC. The last victory of the Japanese hunter was exactly a year ago today, when he received a Triangle Choke entry about Charalampos Grigoriou.

The next fight by Eryk could otherwise be his last after the loss of UFC Vegas 109

UFC veteran Eryk Anders is about to retire after losing Christian Leroy Duncan on the main map.

The former Linebacker of Alabama and 'Cobra Kai' actor suffered the second knockout loss of his 26-fighter career with the hands (and rotating elbows) of Duncan.

After his last TKO victory at former champion Chris Weidman, otherwise he said that he only had a few fights in him before he calls it a career.

Prior to his fight with Duncan, otherwise MMA Junkie told that he has two more fights on his UFC contract, which means that the next appearance of the 38-year-old will probably be his pension fight after 13 years in sport.
