It looks like Barcelona will hold off a move from Lille striker Jonathan David for now, but they are quickly running out of time to make one. David is out of contract at the end of the season and will probably sign a pre-contract in January.
He already has a lucrative offer from Tottenham Hotspur on the table, but according to BILD, Bayern Munich, as quoted by Sport, is making a move. The Bavarian giants are pushing for his signature as they look to introduce an alternative to Harry Kane.
Barcelona are aware of his economic demands but have decided not to sign David so far, fearing he may not be the stylistic fit they are looking for. The Blaugrana apparently want their own alternative to their aging number nine Robert Lewandowski, but David does not fit the job description.
