Lens midfielder Salis Abdul Samed attracting Turkish interest

RC Lens -Midfielder Salis Abdul Samed (25) could be moving again this summer, with several Turkish clubs interested in his services.

The Ghana International returned to the Stade Bollaert this summer after a loan spell in Sunderland. His time in the championship was marred by a long PSOAS injury, although he played a role in the promotion of the Black Cats to the Premier League. Abdul Samed remains under contract with Lens until June 2028.

According to a report from L'équipe, CSKA Moscow inquired about the 25-year-old, but a move to Russia is off the table because of the current geopolitical climate. The strongest interest comes from Turkey, with Kayserispor and Istanbul Başakşehir reportedly insisting on a loan agreement.
