Last Saturday at UFC 310, former UFC bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling suffered his first loss since moving up to featherweight, leaving him pondering his future.
Aljamain Sterling made his featherweight debut at UFC 300 last April, defeating Calvin Kattar and immediately putting himself in title contention.
He was then paired with Movsar Evloev at UFC 307, but 'Funkmaster' withdrew from the fight after suffering a shoulder injury and the fight was moved to UFC 310.

Aljamain Sterling admits he's considering retirement after losing at UFC 310
Despite a solid performance, Sterling suffered his second defeat in three fights, with Evloev maintaining his unbeaten record by taking another decision victory.
After the fight, Sterling and Evloev hugged backstage and discussed their fight. Not long after, the former bantamweight champion took to his YouTube channel to discuss his fight in more depth.
Just before going out for his fight, Sterling was sick backstage and hoping the committee wouldn't see him.
“I drank a PRIME, I don't know what happened, it turned my stomach and I thought I was doing fine, and then I felt like I had to bark in the back,” Sterling began to explain in his YouTube video.
“When they called us to go to the back tunnel I was like, 'Wait a minute, bro,' when they started doing the intro I was like, 'Is there a bucket because I'm going to puke all over this floor,'” continued Sterling.
This isn't the first time Sterling has been sick on fight night, as the 35-year-old threw up between rounds during an amateur fight in 2010.
After spending several years at the top of the sport, Sterling is now considering his future and even told his team after UFC 310 that he may be retiring from the sport.
“When we were in the back room, Ray (Longo) had just stepped out and I said to the guys, 'I'm going to let you know, I don't really know what I'm going to do from here, I don't know not or I will (continue)'.
“At 35, I don't know if I want to climb the ladder again… The end goal is so much further away… Is it worth the time invested, the operations, the pain… I don't want to retire, but I We have to see what the UFC has to offer and make a decision from there,” Sterling added.
Sterling's teammate reveals what started a fight with a fan at UFC 310
Unfortunately for Sterling, one of the biggest talking points from his fight was when his two teammates, Merab Dvalishvili and Dennis Buzukja, got into an altercation with a fan while walking backstage after Sterling's fight.
The fan in question apparently started taunting Dvalishvili, and it has since emerged that the fan was an acquaintance of Umar Nurmagomedov and his team.
Despite this, Buzukja traded punches with the fan and has revealed what caused the fight.
“I don't know if he touched Merab when we walked in, but somehow he got Merab's attention, and then Merab went to tap his shoulder and give him the finger, and then this guy gave him the finger back or something like that.
“He got really nervous. When the fight was over and we were walking back on the other side, this damn guy runs into the whole crowd and then goes and, you saw the video, he grabs Merab's arm and says something to him.
“Then we had a little physical altercation. So hopefully no charges are filed and we move on,” Buzukja revealed.
