Jake Paul is not as enthusiastic as most fight fans due to the groundbreaking announcement of the new ten-digitage deal of the UFC.
Dana White announced this afternoon in a statement that Paramount and CBS would be the next broadcast partner of the UFC, 2026. Perhaps the most remarkable part of the announcement was that the promotion would come for the first time in their history of the 'pay-per-view' model.
Fans were quickly rejoice in the news that all fights would be available for a subscription that can be as low as $ 7.99. But Paul is not so sure and noticed that they still have a large number of PPV events to still walk, which costs fans a good premium.

While most Vecht fans were enthusiastic about the prospect of leaving the pay-per-view model, Jake Paul clearly made his opinion in a post on X.
The Social Media star was part of a number of groundbreaking events that Pay-PerView has challenged, although he also strongly trusted it in his fighting career.
His boxing debut against Anesongib in 2020 would probably have landed on PPV before the launch of Dazn, but was ultimately free as part of the monthly subscription. And much more, he led the first boxing event ever on Netflix last year when he defeated Mike Tyson by decision.
The recklessness of these guys is unreal if you are their partner. 1st they talk about going into boxing without risk and loading costs for reimbursements for the costs of their partners who set up the money.

“The recklessness of these guys is unreal if you are their partner,” Paul wrote in response in particular to TKO President and Chief Operating Officer Mark Shapiro's quotes to CNBC. “1st they talk about boxing without risk and charging reimbursements for costs for costs of their partners who set up the money.
“Now they say that PPV is dead if they have a PPV this weekend [Dricus] Du plessis and another with [Alex] Pereira and another with [Tom] Aspinall … & another 1 with … “
He followed that message with a message stating: “Every hunter in the UFC now has a clear picture of what the income is … no more PPV excuses. You get the value of boys and girls.”
The comments from Shapiro to which Paul replied were as follows: “The pay-per-view model is a thing of the past. What is more on pay-per-view? Boxing? Films on DirectV? It is an outdated, outdated model.
“So it was of the utmost importance for us-confidence the word play-on-the one-stop shopping, especially for our younger fans in viaduct states.
“If they find out:” Wait, if I just sign up for Paramount+ for $ 12.99 per month, I will automatically get the numbered fights from UFC and the rest of the portfolio? That is a message that we want to strengthen. “
Earlier today, Dana White announced the end of the PPV model in the statement
The New York Times and CNBC, which this morning from nowhere from nowhere, reported that the UFC had closed a new $ 7.7 billion deal with Paramount and CBS. The deal starts in 2026 and runs seven years until 2033.
White went to social media to confirm the reports with a statement, which was quickly followed by a press release. “This historic deal with Paramount and CBS is incredible for UFC fans and our athletes,” said White.

“For the first time, fans in the US have access to all UFC content without a pay per-view model, making it more affordable and accessible to view the biggest fights on a huge platform.
“This deal places UFC under the largest sports in the world. The exposure offered by the Paramount and CBS networks under this new structure is a huge victory for our athletes and everyone who watches and loves this sport.”
