UFC Heavyweight Champion Tom Aspinall answered coach Fernand Lopez's recent main cratching comments.
Undisputed UFC Heavyweight Champion Tom Aspinall will be confronted with two -time title Challenger Ciryl Gane in his first linear defending defense on UFC 321 in October. The Aspinall vs. Gane fight will only announce his abrupt retirement of MMA only a few months after Jon Jones came to blossom.
Aspinall has promised to free Gane from the heavyweight title photo with a dominant performance on UFC 321. But this is not the first time that Aspinall and Gane are linked to a potential fight, because Aspinall Gane repeatedly accused of evasion of countless fights.

During a recent appearance of the media, Lopez accused the Aspinall van Liegen about Gane that previously declined earlier combat offers in their career. Lopez also hit back by emphasizing what he thinks Asinall will be a huge pressure to achieve a big victory after the leave of Jones of the division.
In a recent interview about the Ariel Helwani show, Aspinall responded to Lopez's comments.
“My response to him is, with all due respect, and I respect coaches so many, especially really high -level coaches. But with all due respect, his opinion is quite irrelevant for the situation,” Aspinall said about Lopez.
“That is great because I fight very well under pressure. There are the boys who are absolute murderers in the gym. Absolute world beaters. And they will fight and they will just freeze and it will not work like in the gym.
“There are other guys, such as myself, who are not so good in the gym, but go under the lights with all the chips on the table, and they come in and do things that they could never do in the gym. That is exactly what I do, and I feel that it is one of my biggest strengths.”
Aspinall has reacted to the pressure in his UFC career so far, but after the leave of Jones from the Octagon, his upcoming fight is under a large microscope on UFC 321. After months of waiting for a potential fight with Jones, Aspinall is opposed to a disputable must-met-win situation against Gane.
Aspinall and Gane will add to the UFC 321 fanfare and will give a historic UFC card, just a few weeks before a dramatic change for the promotion.

As the UFC announced on Monday, the promotion signed a new broadcasting right agreement of $ 7.7 billion with Paramount, which will start in January. The UFC will abolish its long-standing Pay-per-View card system and all fans can view all UFC fights for a subscription price.
Only a few hours after the announcement, some hunters wondered how the new rights deal will influence Fighter Pay, because the pay-per-view model fades in a uncertainty. Fighters such as Aspinall and Gane no longer earn 'pay-per-view points', with effect from January 2026.
