Mallorca set sights on signing of third Barcelona player

Barcelona has not yet guaranteed that Joan Garcia, Wojciech Szczesny and Marcus Rashford have registered with La Liga before the summer transfer window closes, despite the fact that they have cleared a considerable space in their wage account with the departure of Inigo Martinez. And as such, further outputs are expected.

The plan was that Marc-Andre ter Stegen went, but with him undergoing surgery on a back problem, he will remain in Barcelona, especially now that he has solved the conflict that he had with the club. Instead, Inaki Pena is a leading candidate to go, and the same can also be said for Hector Fort.

Fort struggled for playing time last season and he will again sit behind Jules Kounde and Eric Garcia. Barcelona would welcome his departure, but only on loan – he was associated with a transfer, but the Catalans have made it clear that they want to maintain total control over his future.

And according to Marca, he could be planned to join the opponents of Barcelona before their opening La Liga -stable value of the season: Mallorca. The Balearic Club wants a movement for the teenager because they want to replace Pablo Maffeo – who is expected to leave Son Moix before the end of the summer transfer window.

Barcelona and Mallorca are involved in several deals this summer. Pablo Torre made the switch to son Moix a few weeks ago, while there were also discussions about teenage wings Jan Virgili. The two clubs have developed a good relationship on the back of these conversations, making the latter a good gamble to sign Fort.

However, it is not expected that a deal will collect pace until the last weeks of the transfer star, since both clubs have things to do before concrete negotiations can take place. But at the moment it seems that there is every chance that it will happen before the summer is out.
