The plan was that Marc-Andre ter Stegen went, but with him undergoing surgery on a back problem, he will remain in Barcelona, especially now that he has solved the conflict that he had with the club. Instead, Inaki Pena is a leading candidate to go, and the same can also be said for Hector Fort.
Fort struggled for playing time last season and he will again sit behind Jules Kounde and Eric Garcia. Barcelona would welcome his departure, but only on loan – he was associated with a transfer, but the Catalans have made it clear that they want to maintain total control over his future.
