Tottenham fans’ BOOZE BAN: Spurs and PSG supporters hit with bizarre restriction in pubs ahead of UEFA Super Cup final

Tottenham and PSG fans have been left thirst for the UEFA Super Cup final after a wide span ban in Udine.

Pubs and stores are excluded from selling wine or spirits by the city council – with fans and locals who receive the same serious treatment.

The only option they have left is beer – maybe no problem for most people, but still a disability on their taste buds.

Tottenham hopes to make PSG upset in the annual competition between the Europa League and the winners of the Champions League in what the first competition of Thomas Frank will be.

An upset has already been caused in another respect thanks to the alcohol ban, but a police officer said to the sun: 'These are the rules and it is only beer.

“Even the shops and supermarkets are not allowed to sell alcohol to residents who live here.”

One pub tried to distance themselves from the unpopular decision, to stop notes with the text 'say thanks to UEFA' and 'it's not our fault'.

Serving drinks with an alcohol content above five percent is also prohibited.

A statement on the website of the Udine municipal council reads: 'The event is considered' extremely high risk 'because of the expected large influx of fans.

“To prevent alcohol abuse and dangerous behavior, restrictive measures have been taken that regulate the sale, portion and consumption of alcoholic beverages, as well as the sale of drinks in glass containers and cans.”

Fans are not allowed to consume drinks in public places outside the relevant branches, the Stadio Friuli, the southern parking space of the land and fan zones.

Even local highway services have been beaten with the prohibition in an attempt to get hold of people who get the 'smuggling war' in their hands.

Tottenham goes into the game as underdogs after he had switched on the tournament after beating Manchester United 1-0 in last season's Europa League final.

In the meantime, PSG achieved their place by Thrashing in the Champions League final by Inter Milan, before he subsequently became Chelsea in the World Cup World Cup.

Spurs will be without James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski, Radu Dragusin and Kota Takai, all of whom are injured.

Dominic Solanke and Destiny Udogie also doubt.

Yves Bissouma did not travel with the team after he had been too late for training too often, manager Frank explained.

As for PSG, Gianluigi Donnarumma was omitted from their team after they have signed Lucas Chevalier from Lille, while midfielder Joao Neves is being suspended.
