Baysgur Susurkaev says he asked the UFC to book him a fight in Chicago this weekend
Baysgur Susurkaev, who trains with Khamzat Chimaev, won a UFC contract on Tuesday evening and emerged as the star of the first episode.
Despite the fact that the fight was fought in the short term, the unbeaten prospect delivered a pathogenic body staircase against Murtaza Talha that was incredibly grateful to Dana White for following some matte fights.
Another aspect of his version that would certainly go well with White and the matchmakers was the willingness of Susurkaev to immediately jump back to the earliest opportunity.
After he posted a message on his Instagram story where he called the new signing of a 'murderer', White also stated that UFC matchmaker Mick Maynard was already looking for the 24-year-old on the next available card.
In a post on Instagram, Susurkaev outlined that he specifically threw UFC 319 in Chicago on the higher ups of the promotion, which confirms that he will be present in the United Center this weekend.
“To everyone who wondered what Dana and I were talking about, and why I showed 4 fingers, I asked him to fight me in one shot with 'Borz' in 4 days. He agreed and then said they are already looking for an opponent, so tomorrow I will fly to Chicago, we will see.”
UFC 319 already looks full, but that does not mean that they will not make an exception
If there is one thing that Dana White and the matchmakers like to hear, they are hunters who want to compete as often as possible.
This is one of the reasons why Khamzat Chimaev became a huge star for the promotion as soon as he arrived within the Octagon and fluid twice in ten days to appear as an incredibly exciting signature.
13 fights have already been set for UFC 319 this weekend, making it difficult to imagine that they will find a place for Baysgur Susurkaev, let alone to find a suitable opponent in such a short term.
That said, in terms of on the right foot in the UFC, Susurkaev's call is to fight in Chicago and to make the journey a very good move.
