Manchester United U21s have seen their match after Sekou Kone had sustained a horror injury.
The Red Devils played the fifth layer of Tamworth in the National League Cup tonight.
Man Utd Youngster Kone sustained a worrying head injury in the first half after he was clatter in a Tamworth player.
The midfielder initially got up after the collision but then fell on the deck.
Doctors ran to the 19-year-old and the game was first suspended.
Kone had been treatment on the field for a while before he finally left the field on a stretcher.
A mask was placed over his face while he was taken away.
Kone went to an ambulance where the treatment went on.
The referee then made the decision to leave the match.
Men report that a “replacement ambulance” was needed and the delay forced the competition to be called.
A Tamworth statement added: “Because of the medical situation we are forced to leave tonight's luminaire, details will be revealed in due course.
“We would like to travel safe to all Man Utd fans, employees and players.
“We wish Sekou Kone a quick recovery.”
Worried fans said on social media: “Praying for Sekou Kone.”
Another added: “Send our best wishes.”
Men report KONE is “consciously, stable and communicates with the United medical team.”
As a precaution, he was taken to the hospital for further checks.
Kone is a highly rated star who came to Man Utd last summer in a deal worth £ 1 million.
The Malian Wonderkid is called the “Next Yaya Toure”.
Kone came to the attention of Man Utd after he had impressed the U17 World Cup 2023 when his nation finished third.
He still has to make his senior debut for the Red Devils, but he played 14 times for the U21s last season.
