European champions Paris St-Germain produced an excellent late recovery before getting a penalty shootout to achieve the UEFA Super Cup and Thomas Frank to deny a first trophy as Tottenham Boss.
After 84 minutes, Spurs led 2-0 thanks to goals from the Center Achterinduo Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero. They were then seconds from achieving an impressive victory before Lee Kang-in pulled one back and then PSG replacement Goncalo Ramos on their way in a 94th minute equalizer.
That took the draw directly to penalties and PSG missed their opening effort when Vitinha shot wide, but Van de Ven left his place saved by Lucas Chevalier.
Mathys Tel shot wide before Frank's side before Nuno Mendes kept his courage to convert the winning penalty for PSG.
It meant that Tottenham won a second European trophy in three months.
