Nottingham Forest has confirmed the signing of Omari Hutchinson from the city of Ipswich.

The England under 21 became a member of the Midlands Club for a deal of five years for a fee of £ 37.5 million.

Hutchinson made 32 performances last season for the Kieran McKenna side in the Premier League, scored three goals and offered two assists.

The 21-year-old, who played at the U21 Euro this summer, spent time earlier on the Academies of Arsenal and Chelsea.

After a successful loan tint in the Championship for the Tractor Boys in 2023-24, Hutchinson made his loan from Chelsea permanent last summer and added £ 22.5 million at Ipswich for a club record.

In 82 competitive performances for the club, he contributed 14 goals and eight assists for two seasons.

When signing for Bos, the attacker said: 'I am really excited to be here and I can't wait to get started. I have played a few times in the city area and it is always like a hostile atmosphere, so I look forward to playing here with the fans behind us.

“I'm going to give it everything and I'm looking forward to the challenge because it's a new chapter for me, but I feel ready.”

Hutchinson said on social media: 'Blessed to be in this historic club with great ambitions, can't wait to see you in the city. Let's let it rock contact. '

Forest's Chief Football Officer, Ross Wilson, added: 'Omari is a really exciting addition to the team. It comes from a fantastic summer and wins the U21 European Championship next to Elliot [Anderson]And is confident here.

'He joins an already talented group of players and adds a new low quality and energy to our attack options. We look at seeing him thriving in a forest shirt. '
