The aggressive face-off between Du Plessis and Chimaev resulted in many reactions to social media, with many “body language experts” in the MMA fan base that gave their late predictions for the fight on the basis of what they saw from the pair on stage.
Many loved what they saw from a hyped-up chimaev in the ceremonial weightings and will be in the Chechen Challenger's corner on Fight Night.

Others, however, saw that the edge on the side of the champion was after the heated fight.
