Chelsea star attracting interest of Bayern after falling out of favour

Chelsea has opened conversations with Bayern Munich about the proposed sale of Christopher Nunku.

The German champions prefer a first loan, but conversations are underway.

The Frenchman's departure would free up the road for Chelsea to increase their bids for Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig and Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United.

Nunku, 27, fell in the pecking order in Stamford Bridge after the arrivals of Joao Pedro, Liam Delap, Jamie Gittens and Willian Estevao this summer.

Chelsea -Baas Enzo Maresca admitted in June that Christopher Nunku can leave the club this summer.

The blues appear open before his departure, despite signing the 27-year-old for a six-year-old deal for a substantial £ 52.7 million only two years ago.

Daily Mail Sport reported earlier that Chelsea Target Simons is expected to leave RB Leipzig after failure to secure Champions League football for the coming season.

Last summer, the Dutch International had become a member of RB Leipzig on a permanent basis, with the deal with a first £ 43 million, with another £ 26 million in possible add -ons.

Simons had spent two seasons on loan at the club of the French Giants PSG, while the former prospect of Barcelona Academy had also spent a year on PSV.

The 22-year-old is supposed to be open to a move to Chelsea this summer, with the blues having first conversations with his representatives.

In the meantime, Chelsea has performed their interest in Garnacho after they have asked United for their appreciation of the 21-year-old winger.

The Red Devils are supposed to want £ 50 million for the Argentinian – considerably less than the £ 70 million that United initially appreciated the player, after he had marginalized himself by manager Ruben Amorim.

Garnacho has been informed that he has no future at United and this summer would like to switch to Stamford Bridge.

The hierarchy of Chelsea is not worried about his character after their homework.

In total, Garnacho played 144 games for United and scored 26 goals, while he has provided 22 assists.

He won the FA Cup with United in the 2023-24 campaign and the EFL Cup in the previous season.
