Joe Rogan paused his UFC 319 analysis to shout one of the most important fighters of the promotion.
Women's MMA has taken a long way since Ronda Rousey was shown in the first completely female main event of the UFC in the history of the promotion. Rousey, who made waves in Strikeforce before he fell at the UFC selection, began to rule her legendary Bantamweight title with a dominant version on UFC 157.
UFC CEO Dana White said earlier that women would never compete in the Octagon as long as he was at the helm. But Rousey's unmistakable star power and 'It' factor pulled white to open the Octagon for women around the world.
The result? Legends such as Amanda Nunes, Kayla Harrison and Rousey have changed their lives in and out of the Octagon.
