Manchester United is in the middle of their preparations for their Premier League opener against Arsenal in Old Trafford, but the transfer remains on the agenda for the Red Devils
The long wait of Manchester United for the new season is almost over. There is only a few hours to go until the Red Devils accept the Arsenal in Old Trafford.
Ruben Amorim has been working hard to get his team prepared while trying to improve the rotten form of last season's club. A way he went that is to splash the money on the transfer market.
United spent more than £ 200 million this summer in an attempt to strengthen the club's attack – Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko have all signed. And despite that edition, the side of Amorim may not be done there.
They are still behind a new midfielder in the middle of the left with Brighton star Carlos Baleba. There can also be outputs to go out, with Jadon Sancho, Alejandro Garnaacho and Rasmus Hojlund all ready for the output door.
That said, view the last transfer news and rumors that come from Old Trafford for the past 24 hours:
Carlos Baleba is said to still secure a move to Man United, despite the hard posture of Brighton. The seagulls have announced in recent days that they do not want to sell the midfielder under any circumstances.
It is suggested that Baleba would be willing to avert his time because he is aware that he is still developing. But he still wants to keep pushing for the next 12 months to secure a switch to Old Trafford.
In anticipation of the Premier League -opener this weekend vs Fulham said Brighton -Baas Fabian Hurzeler: “I have not seen any change [in Baleba]. He only changed his hair, so I think that was the only change he has made in the past two weeks. But in general he seems to be in a really good place. He enjoys it with his teammates, he likes to be a Brighton player.
“He is very grateful that he had the process he had last season, so I didn't see any big change. And he is an option to start for tomorrow.”

Man United Icon Gary Neville has unveiled his surprise about the huge transfer of the club this summer – but still thinks there is one striking weakness. He said: “Mbeumo, Cunha, Sesko – many eyes on them at United I think fans of Manchester United, including myself, are surprised that they have gone and spent that level of money.
“We thought of course after the Europa League final, that the money would not be at that level. So to get those three players, who look like a really good profile – two of them have Premier League experience – we need them to do it right, because the rest of the team …
“We need a keeper. There are absolutely problems with the defense and the midfield. But if the three strikers are a real handful and goals … Last season, United's return for the goal was very bad, so it is really important that Sesko, Mbeumo and Cunha achieve a really good start.”
The agent of Benjamin Sesko has revealed that he was willing to give up his part of the compensation to get a move to Man United. Speaking at Slovenian Outlet Pop! The 24UR program of TV via Goal Elvis Basanovic said: “At one point the clubs (United and Leipzig) were far apart during the appreciation.
“United had reached the limit of their budget for the transfer. On the other hand, Leipzig had demands and expectations that were higher based on the value of Benjamin. That created a gap that had to be resolved.
“At a certain point I decided to give up part of my own compensation, to bridge the gap, because I thought it was the right thing to do. For me, the wishes and dreams of a player should always come before the interests of the agent.”
