Khamzat Chimaev again showed a completely dominant representation of wrestling and wrestling, but his former teammate made a daring claim.
On Saturday, Khamzat Chimaev finally fought for UFC Gold when he took on Dricus du Plessis for the middleweight title in the UFC 319 Main Event.
As he did several times during his UFC official period, Chimaev Du Persis dominated with his struggle and sailed on a unanimous decision gain and became the new champion.
His performance was not only dominant, but it was really amazing how he dominated the South African and surpassed him 529-45 in total strikes.

Chimaev publishes the response to Strickland after Bold Claim has been made
Almost immediately after the event, UFC boss Dana White claimed that we could see 'Borz' earlier instead of later in action instead of later, which stated that he would look at the addition of him to UFC 321 in October.
Although there are several contenders that he could then fight, there is one middleweight that will certainly not be, and that is former champion Sean Strickland.
Strickland and 'Borz' have somewhat constant feud, even though they have been training for a while.
And after the title win of the Chechen title on Saturday, Strickland made a daring claim that he used to have Chimaev 'from the training' in training for five rounds, in which he stated that he will get some victories so that he can fight against Chimaev for the title and show that he can lock him.
During the UFC 319 after the press conference after the fight, Chimaev laughed at the statement of Strickland and said: “Bro, Dricus brought him down many times, how can he take me down, come on. This guy hit him everywhere, hit him, this guy just talks too much, he is a funny guy, he works with Paulo Costa, I am, I am, I am, I am, I, I am working, I works, I am working with Paulo Costa.”
Middleweight Competer promises to 'drown' Chimaev
There were different middleweight contenders who looked at the main event in the front row, of whom there was an Anthony Hernandez, who has an impressive eight Vechtwin streak.
After the main event, Hernandez promised that he would “drown” Chimaev if he fought him and claimed that his gas tank would be too much for 'Borz'.
