Ebereechi Eze seems to be about to move to Tottenham Hotspur from Crystal Palace, but an exit is perhaps not that simple as the first thought with Oliver Glasner who now pronounces
Oliver Glasner sings the praise of Ebereechi Eze despite an upcoming move to Tottenham Hotspur. The wing player has been identified as a priority goal for the men of Thomas Frank during the last fourteen days of the window.
It was suggested that they would set up their interest and wanted to pay around £ 60 million for his services. And then it was reported that Eze would not play a role in the Premier League seal opener of Crystal Palace against Chelsea on Sunday.
Eze was then mentioned in Palace's Start XI versus the blues despite the speculation, while Glasner has also been full of praise for his star wing.
Asked by Sky Austria which player is currently embodied the spirit he has built in Selhurst Park, he only had one answer. Glasner said: “Ebereechi eze-a player who can score a goal from nothing that brings the American victory. Sometimes you need that kind of momentum, without everyone having tactically perfect and eight one-twos in advance.”
Glasner has also sent Palace Chiefs a warning for the future of Eze – and Marc Guehi that has been associated with Liverpool. He has claimed that improvement can be difficult if the couple are sold.
Asked what his goals are for the coming campaign, the Austrian answered: “That clearly depends on how the transfer window goes. If you constantly lose your best players and do not replace them accordingly, it will be difficult to maintain or even improve your level.
“Apart from the first eight competition days, we finished at least seventh for the rest of last season. If possible, I can't think of why we couldn't achieve that the entire season.”
Elsewhere, Spurs -Baas Thomas Frank has also dropped a hint over the aim of his side on Eze. Speaking after the opening day on his part against Burnley, he said: “We are definitely on the market.

“I said it earlier, Daniel and Johan and Vinai are working ruthlessly to try to do their best to improve the team, but we only want to improve the team if we can improve players who can improve a team. I want to keep it as IS.”
Specifically asked about Eze, the Daan chose to stay a little more tight. He said: “I have that nice principle that I would like to talk about the players in my own house and all the other speculations that I don't want to speak too much about that.”
