Khamzat Chimaev receives message from world champion boxer after history-making title win at UFC 319

When Khamzat Chimaev debuted in the UFC in 2020, it seemed inevitable that he would eventually win gold.

This Saturday the Premier promotion returned to Chicago for UFC 319, at the head a middleweight title fight between Dricus du Plessis and Khamzat Chimaev.

Although a large part of the MMA fan base believed that Chimaev would leave with the title, the way he did it was a surprise when he dominated the South African in five rounds.

And his return to the Octagon could rather instead of coming later, as UFC -Baas Dana White after the event claimed that he is open to add Chimaev to the UFC 321 event in October.

Chimaev receives a message from the world champion boxer after a victory for making history

'Borz' not only joined a small group of hunters to win the UFC title while retaining an undefeated record, but he also became the first Chechen hunter in the history of UFC who won a title, something that Conor McGregor congratulated him.

The 31-year-old also received a message from Boxing world champion, Artur Beterbiev, who congratulated him after his victory.

“I congratulate our brother sincerely, undefeated UFC -hunter Khamzat Chimaev, as well as my dear brother Ramzan Kadyrov and the entire Chechen people with his historical victory and winning the UFC championship belt! I wish Khamzat Health, new performance and only clear victories!”

At one point, Chimaev apparently seemed to his relationship with Kadyrov while struggling to reach a visa to fight in America, which stopped his career enormously.

Nevertheless, the Chechen now has no problem with regard to acquiring a visa, but it is still not very interested in fighting in the United States.

Chimaev Congratulations by Islam Makhachev and Jon Jones

After finally won UFC Gold, Chimaev will now look to continue to build his legacy, hoping to go as one of the greatest hunters of all time.

And after his victory, he was congratulated by two of the best in Jon Jones and Islam Makhachev, who both supported him prior to his fight in Chicago.
