Leeds United is close to an agreement on a deal for AC Milan-Vleugel player Noah Okafor after a Triumphing with 1-0 about Everton during their return to the Premier League on Monday evening.
The Switzerland International is open to the move and has discussed a potential deal of four years.
Leeds is supposed to offer around £ 13.5 million for the 25-year-old who has attracted the attention of Arsenal and Everton.
Okafor was signed by Milan from RB Salzburg and has sustained some smashing injuries over the past three seasons.
He spent part of last season on loan with title -winning Napoli, but only succeeded in five performances.
He played the full 90 minutes when Leeds stood against AC Milan in Dublin in the preseason.
Leeds is willing to gamble on some of their acquisitions this summer in the hope of keeping them fit and bringing extra quality to the newly promoted team of Daniel Farke.
Farke described the return from his side to the Premier League as 'magic' after Lukas Nmecha's controversial 84th minute penalty gave them the victory over the toffees on Elland Road.
With six minutes to go, Everton captain James Tarkowski used the shot of Anton Stach and Nmecha, who came from the bank, the Spot-Kick sent with only his third touch to send the Elland Road-mixed game.
“It was a magical night. It was special, “Farke said. 'We are happy and grateful for our supporters who had to suffer a lot over the years.
'It's great to see the joy and pride in their eyes and great to give the supporters who are so emotional and so much worries about this great club. It was a top performance. We were dominant in the first half and had 12 shots.
'That is excellent for a newly promoted side. I was a bit worried because we were so dominant and normally scores you.
'It can be expensive if you do not use your chances. But Lukas Nmecha made the chance. A hard -fought victory but also a well -deserved victory. '
In the meantime, Tarkowski described the decision to grant a fine against him as 'bizarre' and insisted that the Everton cost a point.
“It's not a punishment. As soon as the referee blew, I was pretty sure it would be destroyed, “he said.
“My first question to him (referee) was:” If my arm is on my side, it is a penalty and he said no. “There is nothing unnatural that my arm is on my side. The ball can hit your arm. Since then I have read that I have leaned in the ball.
“I can't understand. The linesman gave it and he was 45 meters away, so I don't understand how he can see what I did with my arm from that perspective. It is a bizarre, bizarre moment. It eventually cost us a point. '
Everton -Baas David Moyes agreed and said he was disappointed about the decision of Chris Kavanagh, but admitted that Leeds was the better side of the night.
“I am really disappointed and unless you cut the hand of the boys, I don't know where he is going,” said Moyes. I think the referees have had a poor opening weekend, but there are many other frustrations.
“We didn't play well at night. Lots of honor to Leeds. They were incredibly intense, especially in the first 30 minutes. We played in our hands, but they were a handful. '
