Daniel Cormier was shocked when he saw that Khamzat Chimaev is successful on UFC 319 with a movement he warns about.
Chimaev has nothing but experienced the victory in mixed martial arts, and that trend remained the title glory in the leading promotion of the sport last Saturday.
Chimaev with Headlining UFC 319 In Chicago, Dricus Du Plessis has on an explicit, one -sided way to start a new era in the division.

Daniel Cormier responds to Khamzat Chimaev's Unorthodox Takedowns on UFC 319
Chimaev took Du Plessis down in the first seconds of the first round and he was able to drag the South African for the rest of the five-round match.
When it comes to the wrestling skills of the new champion, his ability to hurry changes is known. From the dominant submission of Chimaev against Kevin Holland to his brutal finish versus Robert Whittaker, 'Borz' has often shown his wrestling in fast start.
One of the most important tools was Chimaev's Double-Leg Takedown, which he would use well against Du Plessis. But the way he landed the movement was surprised Cormier, who revealed that he is shouting at people trying to do what the Chechen star “11 times” did on UFC 319.
“A double leg, and it's gone there,” said Cormier about the move that the total dominance of Chimaev has set up at UFC 319.
“It's strange, because I shout at people:” Shooting doesn't work! You don't have to hit them to move them to shoot because the shooting does not work. “
“And then I see Khamzat Chimaev doing 13 times and scoring 11 Takedowns with it,” Cormier added. “So maybe you can shoot.”
Daniel Cormier was 'disappointed' in Dricus du Plessis on UFC 319
Although he is well aware of the talents of Chimaev, Cormier was still not satisfied with the lack of resistance of Du Plessis.
Cormier asked Du Plessis preparing during a video that was placed on his YouTube channel shortly after UFC 319, and admitted that he had expected more from the South African.
“It was very impressive by Chimaev,” said Cormier. “If I am honest, however, it was a bit disappointing on the side of Du Plessis because he knew the challenge.
“I don't know if they have prepared in the right way for what challenge stood for them. You know that when you are fighting Chimaev, you have to get up when you are picked up when you are picked up and you have to make the Takedowns hard.
“He was unable to do one of those things tonight and now he is the former champion,” Cormier added.
