After UFC 319, different divisions have received remarkable ranking updates.
The dominant victory of Khamzat Chimaev on Dricus du Plessis has seen him raise the Pond-for-Pound Ladder and now claim the #4 place.
Another weight class that was expected to undergo a major change was the featherweight division, in which the newly arranged #4 Competer Lerone Murphy was established the next time out to challenge Alexander Volkanovski.
Surprisingly, there were also some changes to the current landscape on 155 pounds, despite the fact that there were no very important lightweight attacks on the map last weekend.
Fans shared their reactions after Paddy Pimblett received a remarkable boost apparently out of nowhere.

Fans respond to Paddy Pimblett catching up Mateusz Gamrot and Beneil Dariush in lightweight rankings
Paddy Pimblett only fought once in 2024 and has not returned to the Octagon in April since his victory over Michael Chandler in April.
The newest update of 'The Baddy' saw him suggest that he is still optimistic about receiving the first shot on the lightweight title of Ilia Topuria, even though there are several other deserving contenders in the mix.
For some time, Pimblett has occupied the #9 place in the lightweight rankings, but this has been changed to the latest update.
The Brit has risen two places to #5, which means that he has jumped for both Beneil Dariush and Mateusz Gamrot.
Although their victories were perhaps not more important than Pimblett's, both Dariush and Gamrot recently achieved more than the 30-year-old star.

Fans gave their opinion about the latest update, with a question whether this means that a fight with Topuria seems more likely.
“They give the title shot to Paddy.”
“So he gets a title shot to beat Chandler … LOL.”
“Paddy goes up two places to justify an undeserved #1 competition, undoubtedly fights.”
“There is no way in which Paddy beats Gamrot, so it's a BS voices ranking.”
“Paddy is such a fraud.”
“How is it possible to go up without a fight.”
'Rankings voters who do their work to further justify the title shot of Paddy Pimblett? Haha. '
