Alexander Isak raised his attempts to leave Newcastle for Liverpool with a highly formulated explanation and it seems that some of his teammates are not happy
The dressing room in Newcastle is 'split' after the explosive transfer declaration of Alexander Isak. The Swedish striker is happy to leave the club throughout the summer and is desperate to force a move to Premier League champions Liverpool.
Newcastle has remained determined during his future, insisting that they will only sell if their requirements are met. Isak has now performed his attempts to leave St James' Park in recent days and has beaten 'broken promises' in a brutal explanation.
And that doesn't seem to have gone well in the dressing room in Newcastle. According to Mail Online, the team spirit stays strong among the players of the club, but there is a gap in the middle when it comes to their star striker.
There are players who support Isak's position – but perhaps more importantly, those who don't. Isak, 25, still does not train with his teammates after he chooses not to become a member of the club during their pre-season tour to Asia.
Magpies -midfielder Bruno Guimaraes gave his own cryptic reaction to Isak's statement. Just a few minutes after the striker went to Instagram, the Brazilian midfielder proudly shared an image of him a Newcastle shirt.
Guimaraes was previously the core of his own transfer speculation, but committed his future to the club by giving a new five -year -old deal earlier this year. In the meantime, Anthony Gordon has also had his say about the situation.
Speaking after the Newcastle opening day with Aston Villa, he claimed that the dressing room was still together. He said: “It has been difficult because we are such a close -knit group. We have never really had public problems and that the first thing happened, has tested us.
“But you see today, we still have that spirit and that togetherness. We work on it every day. That will never go, regardless of individuals. We are a top group, our togetherness is great and that will always be.

“It can do [bring the group closer together] But we are still together. Things like things can test our kind and ultimately make you better – and I think that will be the case. “
Isak has left for three years to his contract in St James' Park, but he seemed to suggest that he would never play for the club again. “I kept silent for a long time while others spoke,” said his statement.
“That silence has enabled people to push their own version of events, although they know that it does not reflect what was really said and agreed behind closed doors. The reality is that promises have been made and the club has known my position for a long time. To pretend that these issues are only on the rise, is misleading.
“When promises are broken and trust is lost, the relationship cannot continue. That is where things are now for me and why a change in everyone's best interest is, not just myself.”
Since the bomb was dropped on Tuesday evening, Newcastle has doubled with their dedication to keep the player, who helped end the long trophy -dried of the club. In a statement in the early hours of Wednesday morning, Newcastle said: “We are disappointed that we will be warned tonight for a social media post by Alexander Isak.
“We are clear that Alex will remain under contract and that a club officer never started that Alex can leave Newcastle United this summer.
“We want to keep our best players, but we also understand that players have their own wishes and we listen to their opinion. As explained to Alex and his representatives, we must always take into account the best interests of Newcastle United, the team and our supporters in all decisions and we have been clear that the conditions of a sale did not happen this summer.
“We do not foresee that those conditions are met. This is a proud football club with proud traditions and we strive to retain our family feeling. Alex remains part of our family and will be welcomed when he is ready to join his teammates.”
As far as Liverpool is concerned, they remained steadfast in their ambition to sign the player and reportedly would prepare a British record transfer bod to test the determination of their top rivals again.
