Jake Paul vs. Gervonta Davis Rules
In May, Jake Paul publicly claimed that he was very close to booking a fight with Gervonta Davis.
The 28-year-old even explained the rules for his mismatch fight with the 5ft 5 in lightweight world champion, which never weighed more than 140 pounds during his 31-Vecht career.
“I mean, that was also on the line of one meter, but he has to rematch Lamont Roach. He wants to get that back, and then we will come back in discussions with Mr. Gervonta,” said Paul in the Ariel Helwani show.
“This is the nature of boxing. You have huge battles on the line of one meter, and they just fall on.”
“195,” added Paul when he was asked what weight the fight would be disputed. “It would be an exhibition, 10 rounds of three minutes. No restrictions, just the fact that we couldn't get it professionally.”
What about Anthony Joshua?
All the conversation has been about Jake Paul lately, who may have been the comeback opponent of Anthony Joshua.
The former two -time heavyweight champion has not fought since he was eliminated by Daniel Dubois last September.
Paul was recently mentioned as the official 'leader' to tackle Joshua when he returns to the ring.
Eddie Hearn, who promotes 'AJ', previously claimed that the potential fight could take place in the first few months of 2026.
Theoretically, that gives Paul the time to box before he starts to prepare to accept Joshua.
At the time of writing, neither has confirmed whether the Netflix leak is true or false.
