Leeds United is pleased to announce the signing of Noah Okafor with a four -year contract, depending on a work permit and international approval.
The 25-year-old arrives on Elland Road on a permanent deal of Italian Giants AC Milan and can operate on the forward areas on both wings, or as a central striker when needed.
Starting with his career in Switzerland with FC Basel, Okafor's deception, pace and an eye for the goal he was named the Swiss Super League Young Player of the Year, who then earned a switch to Red Bull Salzburg.
The attacker saw his stay with the Austrian outfit playing more than 100 times in all competitions and registered 57 goals involvement in those games. Four consecutive league titles, as well as three Austrian cups were a reward for his efforts within the team.
Okafor was impressed by his side in its own country and also in the European competition. He played 16 times in the UEFA Champions League for those roots bullen and scored six times. This form led to Italian powerhouse AC Milan moving for his signature in 2023.
In his first season in the San Siro, Okafor was a permanent member on the side who finished second in the rankings. The following year he was again a large part of Milan's side before he came on loan at Napoli in the winter window. The attacker played an important role in the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona and helped Gli Azzurri to only win their fourth Scudetto!
Okafor also has a lot of experience at international level. After implementing the younger age groups, he made his senior debut for Switzerland in 2019 against England in the final of the Nations League. He now has 24 hats to his name and represented his country at the World Cup 2022.
