Former Leeds United and Sevilla sports director Victor Orta had something of an unfavorable few years ago in Spain since he returned from English football. His last activity in the transfer market has raised more than a few eyebrows, and not because of the player involved.
Orta, who initially worked under Aston Villa -Sports Director Monchi as an Explorer, moved back to Sevilla after his spell on Elland Road. However, it did not go well after he had replaced Monchi, with Sevilla who slid to a mid -tablet finish and then finished 17th last year, cycling by six managers in the process.
After he was fired by Sevilla this summer and replaced by Antonio Cordon, Orta did not have to wait long for work. He became a member of Real Valladolid in Segunda, because they are watching to rebuild after a historically poor campaign under the property of Ronaldo Nazario. This week Valladolid presented new signing Mohamed Jauoab and Orta, as part of his welcome to the Moroccan defender.
“There are verses in the Koran (53, 39, 41) who say:” And that there is no man except that [good] for which he strives. And that his effort will be seen. Then he will be returned with the full reward. 'So, may the reward be your success in this club, which will be the success of everyone. “
Orta was large criticized for his work at Seville because they did not stop their heads for the past two years. Orta has been familiar that the Club Sergio Ramos would not sign during his presentation two days after the transfer window was closed. Orta would explain the decision by quoting philosopher David Hume and comparing Ramos with the famous NBA star Magic Johnson.
