Conor McGregor has one-word reaction as ex-teammate Dillon Danis spars with BKFC star he ‘fired’

UFC star Conor McGregor recently saw two names that he is more than familiar with Link Up.

Dillon Danis is planned for his first taste of action since October 2023 later this month, when he returns to the misfits boxing promotion. He lost his debut under that banner, when Logan Paul Danis Outboxed before the former Bellator -hunter was disqualified.

This time the Jiu-Jitsu Black will not call the boxing gloves. Danis will compete in MMA at Misfits Boxing 22, so that the influencer and crossover boxing company organize an MMA fight for the first time.

Among those who will probably look is McGregor, a former teammate of Danis'. And the recent sparring challenge of the American with a remarkable name attracted the eye of the former UFC champion.

Conor McGregor responds while Dillon Danis trains with Mike Perry for his return

Before he looked at Warren Spencer in the ring on August 30, Danis got some work with the leading star of Kale boxing, Mike Perry.

After Perry Thiago Alves had defeated BKFC: Knuckklemania last year, 'Platinum' is now 5-0 in the promotion since leaving the UFC.

While he prepares for his return, Perry recently took the time to help Danis's preparation and posted a video of the end of their sparring session on Instagram.

“I had to get some work this morning and @dillondanis was happy to organize and meet me in the middle prior to his big fight next weekend!” Perry wrote in the caption. “After 30 minutes, here is 15 seconds! Let's go dude!”

The commentary part appeared was BKFC co-owner McGregor, who responded in joy to the link between his ex-teammate and the best hunter of the promotion.

“Great!” McGregor wrote.

Conor McGregor has had an interesting relationship with Mike Perry

McGregor and Perry have gone back and forth a number of times since the Irishman became a sub-owner of BKFC.

Their relationship lasted a quick decline after Perry lost to Jake Paul in Boxing. A furious McGregor claimed that Perry was 'fired' from BKFC, a claim that was not surprising not to be true.

'Platinum' remains one of the biggest stars of the bare knuckle and will return in October to combat another man who has history with McGregor, former UFC participant Jeremy Stephens. 'Lil Heathen' was ashamed of the Irishman in a infamous press conference in 2016.

The Dubliner has promoted that fight and, according to BKFC founder Dave Feldman, McGregor is preparing for the winner. It is still to be seen whether the Dubliner will compete in bare boxing, especially because it will remain under contract with the UFC.
