UFC Shanghai has undergone a number of late changes because of the weight of Brian Ortega.
The main event on August 23 between Johnny Walker and Zhang Mingyang probably seems to produce a knockout to close the night.
For many fans, however, the most intriguing matchup was between two hunters who had long competed at the top of their weight classes.
Ortega's fight with Aljamain Sterling was the Co-Main event, earned some criticism from fans, and many believed that it was worth the place more than the Main Event spot.
With both men in the top 10 of featherweight, there were commitment to their futures on 145 pounds, although this has now been adjusted.

Brian Ortega places a short message on social media after his worrying UFC Shanghai movement
On Saturday evening, Brian Ortega and Aljamain Sterling will now compete with a catch of 153 pounds.
Despite the call of the promotion to move the match to a lightweight competition than a featherweight, fans were still worried about Ortega after he stepped on the scales.
The former two-time featherweight Challenger looked particularly exhausted in the video that Dana White shared from the last face-offs before UFC Shanghai.
Although 'T-City' has never missed official weight for a UFC fight, he has had some difficulties in making the featherweight limit in the past.
He was planned to be confronted with Diego Lopes at 145 pounds on UFC 303 last year before the fight a division was moved on the day before they collided.
On the day of the fight, Ortega withdrew from the matchup due to illness, which led to the fact that IG was aware of the CO-Main event for a few hours.
In a message about his Instagram story after his weighting, Ortega apparently referred to the support and concern that fans have shown, just write: “Love you” next to an empty background.
UFC commentator clarifies the Aljamain Sterling and Brian Ortega Drama
While he was waiting for Brian Ortega to weigh, there were some reports from UFC Shanghai that the matchup was canceled and that 't-City' reportedly suffered some form of health problems.
UFC commentator Brendan Fitzgerald did not say that something like that happened when he told the story of what happened in a video on Instagram.
“This is how things actually went in the Co-Main event. Brian Ortega and Aljamain Sterling were never really finished. It was never canceled. It doubted at certain times.”
Fitzgerald stated that there were some questions about whether Ortega would be medically cleared up for the fight and whether he was able to weigh what weight the fight would be held.
