‘Man on a mission’… Jon Jones updates on his current situation amid UFC uncertainty and Dana White issue

Jon Jones feels optimistic about his Fighting Future after his MMA pension U-turn.

From 'Bones' it was expected that earlier this year, Tom Aspinall will be able to get into a heavyweight unification.

It has been reported that the UFC agreed to pay $ 30 million to have that fight take place.

Jon Jones, however, is said to retire from the deal and briefly withdrew from Fighting in June.

Jon Jones offers an update

The biggest hunter in the MMA history is quickly not removed after he has learned that the UFC will organize a show in the White House in July 2026.

Inrinerated by his antics, UFC CEO Dana White Jon Jones excluded to compete at the one -off event.

Yet Jones seemed optimistic about his future with the UFC during a recent update on social media.

The 38-year-old discussed an injury with which he is dealing with before talking to his MMA back on Instagram.

“I have just finished doing some stem cells,” Jones began.

“I usually do not complain to the fans about all the different injuries I have had over the years. You usually only hear about the most important. I usually just go back to work and fight the most difficult competition the world to offer.

“This time I took a step back and got some stem cells done. Some things that really needed to be tackled, I wanted to thank the UFC for supporting that.

“Life is good, your boy heals. Get stronger so that I can finish my old man chapter as a real badass.

“I think there will be a lot of great things, but all the great things take time.

“I am patient. I am a man on a mission. A man with a plan.”

Jon Jones supported by Israel Adesanya

Jon Jones has not always been the best friends with former double UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya.

So, fans were somewhat surprised when 'The Last Stylebender' publicly supported his pension decision.

Adesanya believes that Jones was right to reject $ 30 million and to prevent a potential loss against Aspinall.

“If I was in his position, I would probably have done the smart thing, that's after Stipe Stuiter,” he said during a recent conversation with Demetrious Johnson. “If I perhaps extended it for a few months, and I just know that I am not going to fight anymore, I don't roll the dice against such a man.

“You don't want to risk it because it is a great legacy. Forbid God, He beats you, you have to come back and try to fight and beat him again. It will extend your career for another two years because you are trying to get that back.”

Adesanya added: “I think he will come back. He comes back after he sees Tom fighting more against two other boys and probably instructs his stock.

“He will do it. It is Jon Jones. I and Jon, we are cool. I have been a fan … Tom is another beast. Fighting Tom is another beast, but I think he will do it, and the fight will be so much bigger.”
