Luis Enrique insisted that Ousmane Dembele's Penalty Miss was “normal” during the victory of Paris Saint-Germain over Angers.
PSG made the back-to-back victories at the start of the Ligue 1 season, with the second half of Fabian Ruiz who sealed a 1-0 victory at Parc des Princes.
The margin of the victory could have been greater if Dembele had not transferred from the penalty spot in the 25th minute, with only four of the 21 attempts of the hosts on goal during the game that hit the target.
Yet Luis Enrique jumped against the defense of the Ballon d'Or candidate.
“I'm the shooter,” he said. “Why did I choose to let Dembele take the punishment because I am in charge. It's normal for them to fail.”

He added to the victory: “I think we have played a very good game physically and technically. It's hard to play against a low block.
“The state of the field made it harder for us to be effective. It was very difficult. We deserved the victory.”
In the meantime, PSG has opened a Ligue 1 campaign with two consecutive clean sheets for the first time since the 2017-18 season.
That is despite the absence between the posts of Gianluigi Donnarumma, who seemed to be waving goodbye to Parc des Princes after Friday's game, where the goalkeeper expected to leave the Champions League winners.
“It is nice to always see the support of the fans,” Luis Enrique added. “It was a special moment for Donnarumma. It is nice to see this sense of trust and recognition.”
