Arsenal's 5-0 hammering from Leeds United left Mikel Arteta with great enthusiastic.
The Gunners called for a huge victory in Emirates Stadium, where Viktor Gyokeres opened his Premier League account with a two -squeeze.
Jurrien Timber also yielded twice, with Bukayo Saka also on goal.
Despite injury problems for Saka and Captain Martin Odegaard, who were both forced with their problems, Arteta was full of excitement about what is coming from the Gunners this season.
He said Sky Sports: “A lot to be enthusiastic about. A really positive afternoon to start the season at home. You could immediately feel the energy that it had risen a level and that is what we were looking for.
“The team played very well, really confident. They made a lot and have not admitted anything. Five goals and a clean slate is really a good start.
“We have the opportunity to score in different ways. Very happy that Viktor scores his first two goals and Jurrien also for his two goals after such a long injury and hard work.”

The excitement mirrors were lifted before the kick-off when Ebereechi was officially unveiled as an Arsenal player after his move from Crystal Palace.
And they went up another notch in the second half when Max Dowman came up to make his debut, with the 15-year-old-NU the second-year-old player in the Premier League history winning the penalty from which Gyokees doubled his count in the second half of the stop time.
Arteta mentioned Downman's debut as “exciting”, but insisted on a cautious approach with the young person.
He added: “We have to collect all the information. It is how he responds and treats the situation. What his teammates think of him, what is clear because they continued to pass him on the ball.
“It's great to be able to change the energy in the stadium by taking it up and he had an impact. He won a penalty on his debut with the Emirates, that's incredible.”

“A special day,” Timber said. “A nice first home game of the season. You could feel the energy of the crowd. The team played well and also a clean slate. But two goals and an assist and a clean slate, I'm going to enjoy this day.”
On Downman, Timber added: “I think everyone has the potential max. Playing against adult men like, this is incredible. It is a pleasure to look at, for me it is a pleasure to look at. I hope he will have some great years with us.”
