Ruben Amorim feels the “really good” spirit in his Manchester United team good for their first full campaign under his management.
After a gloomy season 2024-25, when the Red Devils finished in their lowest ever Premier League position (15th) and lost to Tottenham in the Europa League final, United yielded a promising representation against Arsenal last week, despite a 1-0 defeat.
After having enjoyed a productive transfer window, to invest £ 200 million in New Vooruit Trio Benjamin Sesko, Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, there is a new confidence in Old Trafford, Amorim claims.
United could write history on Sunday while offering a ninth straight Premier League win in Way matches against Fulham, who would mark their longest winning streak against each team in Premier League promotion.

Amorim discussed the change in mentality at Old Trafford and told Sky Sports: “Last year I was sometimes worried that I went to the games, but now I am excited, it's very different.
“We have been together so much and people can bind it. The Spirit is really good.
“If you feel that the team is playing well, you have confident and you feel more free to play and if you are more free to play, you are happier.
“If you are happier, your daily day is better and it is like snowball.”
Amorim discussed the new attacker Cunha and said: “I am really happy, not just with him, but with Cunha, Diego (Leon) and Mbeumo.
“We know we have the players and we know that we will have that basis in our future and that is really important to us.”
Cunha, who bowed his Premier League for the club to Arsenal last week, said: “I am very passionate about winning games, to make my team and myself better to achieve things. I think I always believe in a little more in me.
“And if I bring this to United, it is something that pushes me ahead. Of course we can make mistakes and I have made some mistakes. I am sorry, my apologies for that. But it is always with a good intention.
“To be honest. Everyone talks about the pressure at this club, but I always wanted to be here.”
